The Chippewa Steel, a founding member of the NAPHL Fall League, are happy to announce their continued participation for the 2023 season at the 18U and 16U levels. Players who are interested should fill out the 2023 Chippewa Steel NAPHL Player Application. Coach Hunt will reach out to those who apply. Teams will typically fill by the end of May.

Levels:
- 18U: 2005 & 2006 birth years
- 16U: 2007 & 2008 birth years
Events (Blaine, MN):
- NAPHL Fall League Opener: Saturday, September 2nd through Monday, September 4th
- NAHL Showcase: Thursday, September 14th through Sunday, September 17th
- NAPHL Showcase & Fall League Playoffs: Friday, October 13th though Sunday, October 15th
Exposure
- Exposure to NCAA, USHL, NAHL and other junior leagues
- Eligible for the NAPHL tenders given to all NAHL teams
- Over 15 Steel NAPHL players have gone on to play in the NAHL
Hotels
NAHL/NAPHL events are stay to play. Out of town players are required to stay at league partner hotels. We will send out booking links for each event.
Practices
Practices will be offered for an additional fee based on interest and player locations. Tentatively planned: Weekend practices (3-5 hours total) in late-August and early-October in the Twin Cities area.

NAPHL Fall League
The NAPHL Fall League is comprised of 16U and 18U teams operated and branded by NAHL members. The League play is strategically located and schedule to allow for additional development and exposure for players before the Minnesota, Michigan and Wisconsin high school season begins. Players that compete in the NAPHL Fall League are eligible for the NAHL Subsidiary tendering system exclusive to the NAPHL.
