Chippewa Falls, WI- The Chippewa Steel of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Brockton Baker has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for St. Norbert College.
The 5’10/165 lbs. native of Verona, WI played in 47 games for the Steel during the 20-21 season, recording 10 goals and 12 assists.
“I am very excited for Brockton, he is going to a great academic school with a history of success on the ice. He is a tremendous leader and has a great work ethic. I am excited to watch him play at St. Norberts,” stated Steel Head Coach & General Manager Mike Janda.
The Chippewa Steel are members of the NAHL which is the oldest and largest junior hockey league of its kind in the United States and one of only two USA Hockey-certified leagues that operate under the non pay-to-play model. The NAHL is also one of the best at advancing players to NCAA and professional hockey.
