Steel are Jetting Off to Janesville

After an exciting two games last weekend, the Steel are on the road to take on the Jets.

Last weekend, the Steel split the series with the Jets. They came up just short Friday night and then dominated the Jets Saturday with a 6-0 win. The Steels top scorers include Tomas Vochozka, Camden Thiesing, Killian Kiecker-Olson, and Grant Reichenbacher. Although still 6th in the Midwest Division, the Steel will carry their momentum from last weekend and take that into this weekend’s games.

The 2nd ranked Janesville Jets were able to come out with a win last Friday but could not keep up with the Steel on Saturday. Friday night Matt Hanewall and Nicholas Nardella carried the Jets getting two goals apiece. Hanewall has a total of 9 points this season with 5 goals and 4 assists. Nardella has 7 points with 4 goals and 3 assists.

The Steel will be back at home Friday, November 16th to take on the Minnesota Wilderness for Military Appreciation Night. All active duty and veterans will receive free admission at the door. Fans can purchase tickets online at or by calling 715-861-2131.
