Business Manager – Jake Serwe
Serwe enters his first season as Business Manager for the Chippewa Steel. Jake spent the last 6 years with both the Madison Mallards and Wisconsin Rapids Rafters of the Northwoods League. He received his Sport Management degree from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in December of 2012. Jake enjoys deer hunting,fishing and spending time at his parents cabin during the summer. He is originally from Brownsville,WI.

Public Relations/Marketing Intern – Devin Miller
Devin joins the Steel for the 2018-2019 season as a Public Relations/Marketing Intern. In this role, Devin will focus on content creation for the website and social media channels as well as execute game day entertainment at Steel home games. Devin is a current student at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and is studying Public Relations and Marketing. Devin enjoys spending time at the lake during the summer with her family. She also loves watching hockey and is excited to work with the Steel this season. She is originally from Owatonna, Minnesota.
Marketing/Graphic Design Intern – Lydia Jackson
Lydia joins the Steel for the 2018-2019 Season as a Marketing/Graphic Design Intern. In this role, Lydia will create print and digital media content for corporate partnerships while interacting with Steel Fans. Lydia is a current Digital Marketing Student at Chippewa Valley Technical College. Lydia is originally from the Eau Claire area and in her free time she enjoys, reading, drawing and working out.
Marketing/Game Entertainment Intern – Jonah Williams
Jonah joins the Steel for the 2018-2019 season as a Marketing/Game Entertainment Intern. In this role, Jonah will focus on executing game day entertainment at Steel home games. Jonah is a current marketing student at the Chippewa Valley Technical College. Jonah enjoys playing sports, hanging out with his friends, and coaching hockey. Hockey has been part of his family since the early 70’s and is excited to apart of the Steel’s first season. Jonah is originally from Hermantown, MN
President/Owner – Steve Black
Steve is in his first year of ownership with the Steel Hockey Organization. Steve is the current Vice President of Douglas Machine in Alexandria, Minnesota. He has been an avid hockey fan for over 20 years as both of his sons played growing up. Steve has been married to his wife Becky for nearly 30 years. They have two kids, Bryant (Vice President of Operations for the Steel) and Bennett (Personal Trainer for Lifetime Fitness). When time permits you can find Steve on the golf course with his family.

VP-Operations – Bryant Black
The Vice President for the Chippewa Steel is Bryant Black. Bryant received his Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2010 and then later received his Master’s degree in Sport Management from Mankato in 2011. Bryant is in his first year with the Steel but this will mark his seventh season as part of the NAHL or NA3HL (spent two seasons within the Blizzard organization). Bryant, in addition, is the Head Men’s Golf Coach at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
