Business Manager – Jake Serwe
Serwe enters is second season as Business Manager for the Chippewa Steel. In May of 2018, he was named Business Manager of the Chippewa Steel. Serwe spent six years with both the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters and Madison Mallards of the Northwoods League. He worked his way up from an intern to Assistant General Manager during his tenure. Serwe began is career in sports with the Omaha Storm Chasers (AAA) Kansas City Royals of the Pacific Coast League. He received his bachelor’s degree in Sport Management degree from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in December of 2012. Jake enjoys deer hunting,fishing and spending time at his parents cabin during the summer. He is originally from Brownsville,WI.

Marketing Intern – Emma Glover
Emma joins the Steel for the 2019-2020 season as a Marketing Intern. In this role, Emma will help with promotional activities, construct marketing materials and contribute to the social media accounts. On game days, she will help execute and coordinate promotional activities while interacting with Steel Fans. Emma is a current Marketing and International Business Student at UW-Eau Claire. Emma is originally from the Green Bay area and in her free she enjoys traveling, reading and hanging out with friends and family!
President/Owner – Steve Black
Steve is in his second year of ownership with the Steel Hockey Organization. Steve is the current Vice President of Douglas Machine in Alexandria, Minnesota. He has been an avid hockey fan for over 20 years as both of his sons played growing up. Steve has been married to his wife Becky for nearly 30 years. They have two kids, Bryant (Vice President of Operations for the Steel) and Bennett (Personal Trainer for Lifetime Fitness). When time permits you can find Steve on the golf course with his family.

VP-Operations – Bryant Black
The Vice President for the Chippewa Steel is Bryant Black. Bryant received his Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2010 and then later received his Master’s degree in Sport Management from Mankato in 2011. Bryant is in his second year with the Steel but this will mark his eight season as part of the NAHL or NA3HL (spent two seasons within the Blizzard organization). Bryant, in addition, is the Head Men’s Golf Coach at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
